Battle Flips
It’s hangman meets battleships.
This is a head-to-head word game for two players, where your mission is to guess your opponent’s word before they guess yours.
Start by choosing a category, such as “Found in a supermarket.” Each player secretly writes a word of up to seven letters on their rack and snaps the doors shut to hide it.
Players then take turns guessing letters. If a guessed letter appears in your opponent’s word, they flip down the corresponding door to reveal it. But beware — if you guess a letter that appears in your own word, you must flip down your own door instead.
When you think you know your opponent’s word, shout it out. Guess correctly and you win the round; guess wrong and your opponent claims victory. The first player to win two out of three rounds wins the game.
