Down the Lane No.2: Meadow Hill Lane

This beautiful lane boasts a range of historic and picturesque houses. The buildings are all shapes, sizes and constructions; some are grand, others are simple cottages and most now seem to be shops or businesses of some kind. Residents potter from shop to shop along the glistening cobbled street; they are lucky to have avoided the recent rain shower! At the end of the lane we can see distant green hills, which explain the name of this oh-so-pretty street.
