Kuldhara
200 years ago, the villagers of Kuldhara set fire to their home and disappeared without a trace. As fearless treasure hunters, your goal is to find precious gems among the ruins and use them to craft magnificent jewellery – before the spirits of Kuldhara’s former residents begin haunting the night!
Kuldhara is played in 4 rounds, where players must properly manage their water in order to perform actions. Each turn, a player may perform up to 2 actions, each of which costs a certain amount of water. Players can either move their camel across the board, dig up gemstones, unload collected gemstones, or reserve a jewellery card for later. Players place unloaded gemstones on their own personal rotating workbench, where they try to make the correct patterns – and thereby craft the most valuable jewellery. When all players have run out of water, the position of the sun moves and the map rotates before the next round, changing the cost of travel in the desert. At the end of the fourth round, the sun sets and the game ends – meaning that the player who has accumulated the most valuable jewellery wins!
