At the start of each round, players secretly choose their Picanté colour — the cards they most want to avoid. While cards of other colours are worth points, any card in your Picanté colour scores negative points, so careful play is essential.
After each round, players score their cards and earn peppers for their position. The first player to collect three peppers proves they can handle the heat and wins the game.
