Space Empires: Replicators is the second expansion for Space Empires, introducing a wealth of new content that deepens strategy and replayability—without adding extra playtime.
At its heart are the Replicators, self-replicating Von Neumann machines that function as a completely unique empire. They can be used as a fifth player, a co-op or solo opponent, or as a simplified teaching faction, offering a very different playstyle with their own mechanics for growth, research, and combat.
The expansion also enriches the game world with terrain tiles, replacing exploration markers with planets, nebulae, and asteroid fields for a more immersive and spacious map. A new Resource Deck adds unpredictability, with cards that influence battles, economy, and exploration, forcing players to adapt their strategies on the fly.
Further expanding the universe, new deep space terrain introduces fresh scenarios and challenges, while advanced ships and technologies open up powerful mid-to-late game options, including Battle Carriers, Advanced Destroyers, and Raiders.
