The Great Commission
The Great Commission is a cooperative (or solo) strategy game set in the Roman era, where players lead an early church through growth, persecution, and spiritual challenge.
Begin with a unique combination of location, leader, and church members, each offering distinct abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. These starting choices shape your playstyle as you work together to spread the Gospel, manage limited resources, and build an efficient engine before time runs out.
As the game unfolds, your church will face mounting Troubles such as persecution, internal conflict, and spiritual attacks. Left unresolved, these threats can weaken and ultimately destroy the church. Meanwhile, powerful Event Cards can dramatically reshape the game ā for good or ill ā while rare Blessing Cards allow players to call upon divine intervention through gifts such as prophecy, exorcism, or resurrection.
With scalable difficulty options, including dual-sided location cards for standard and challenge modes, The Great Commission offers deep strategic play, strong cooperation, and meaningful decision-making. To win, players must bring the Gospel to every person in the World Deck before the Event Deck is exhausted ā and before the life of the church is lost.
